Research Groups

At the next level after our Research Centres, areas of activity are grouped into themes which enable researchers in cognate fields to explore ideas and subjects ranging from 'blue-skies' and short-life projects through to strategic research developments. Research Clusters enable flexible and rapid progress of research themes which are responsive to innovation and speculation, collaboration, and internally and externally generated research opportunities. They reflect staff interests and support the development of knowledge and understanding across the School's range of expertise.
